Podere Palazzina lies in the southern part of the Toscana west of Lago Bolsena.
How to get there: From the north via Switzerland or Austria
1.) via Bologna, Florenz A1
Exit Firenze Certosa, direction Siena
Until Exit Siena Sud (Cassia SS2) direction Rome
On the Cassia SS2 until Aquapendente (ca 90km)
In Aquapendente after the first petrol pump turn right, direction Sorano/Onano
In Onano sharp right opposite the petrol pump and pass through the village, dir. Sorano.
After about 2km take the first metal (tar) road on the right
After about 1km take the white road going down on your left until you reach the house after about 500m.
2.) via Genova (A12) La spezia, Lucca (A11), Florenz than follow as above 1.)
3.) via Genova Livorno Grosseto A12-Aurelia till exit Albinia
Direction Manciano/Pitigliano/Sorano (straight on in town centre) and drive until you
reach Sorano
from Sorano take direction Castell Azzarra for ca. 3-4km until there is a junction where you turn right direction Onano.
After ca. 6km turn sharp left onto small tar road
After ca. 1km turn left onto white road until you reach the house
From the south (Rome or Fiumicino Airport)
Aurelia (A12) till Montalto di Castro (ca.100km)
direction Canino, Talentano, La Cantoniera
From La Cantoniera follow for 1km (direction Pitigliano)
turn right to and until Onano (ca 7km)
turn half-left opposite petrol station and follow directions as above 1.)

Car necessary due to location (nearest shopping ca. 3km)
Nearest airport: Rome 120km (two hours)
With some airlines exist the possibility to already book your rental car in advance when bying your airline ticket for bargain rates. It is mostly cheaper than waiting till you arrive in Rome.
Nearest railway station: Orvieto 30km
